Girl and the Ghost
Coming-of-age teen drama:
15-year old Jess has been raised in foster care all her life, she is lonely and gets bullied for her previous mental health issues. Jess sees a ghostly apparition of a beautiful woman who tells her she needs to journey into the woods and bring back a special box. Jess is mesmerised and promises to find it.
The others in the gang decide to go with her and they leave their run-down council estate and journey over-night into the woods where all the tensions, insecurities and abusive backgrounds in the gang explode as Jess leads them deeper into the woods to find the box and prove her vision was true.
